We Love Giving

Chef in a Box is proud to support our local community and several children’s charities every year. We do this the best way we know how…with free food! Here’s some of what we’ve been doing in the last year or so.

The Big Lunch
Working with Slough Borough Council we provided Mini Roll platters for Big Lunch events across the town which fed several hundred people who came out to get to know their community better.

“…a very big THANK YOU to you & Chef in a Box for your very generous assistance in the Big Lunch programme yesterday, so many people complimented the rolls and asked where they were from. You helped feed so many members of the local community in this very worthwhile event; I can tell you your rolls were enjoyed by all and not even one was left over.”
Madhuri Bedi, Community Liaison Officer, Slough Borough Council.

Every year we provide Lunch Packs for under-privileged inner city children heading on a rare day out as part of KidsOut and organised by the Westminster Rotary Club.
“…on behalf of the Rotary Club of Westminster East, I would like to thank you very much for the packed lunches you so generously provided for us. The children had a fabulous time observing the animals and no doubt enjoyed the bus ride to Broxboure Wild Life Park. It was a delightful day and we are grateful for your kind contribution. Kindly extend our thanks to all those at Chef In A Box for their kind assistance.”

The Vishal Foundation

Each year the Vishal Foundation holds a commemorative Little Angels Service for bereaved families who have lost babies or young children. This was our first year of providing platters for their reception lunch and we’re delighted to support such an important event.
